This is the place to buy your corn tortillas! They have some with NO preservatives "La Banderita" wrapped in white paper with red and green writing. 2 Lbs 6 oz for $2. Cheaper and better than the BHA laden supermarket variety. The tamales in the back of the store weren't bad either!

Very authentic central american foods. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are a little more than at a larger supermarket like Cub or Walmart but not too expensive.

Well my name is Israel and I love the people that work there all the ladies are so kind and so helpfull they go above and byand to try to please you the meat department is well stocked and I love it I have gotten to now most of the employees personally because I go so regularly with my son and mother my son has a disability and everyone understands his needs when we are there my mother her name is Maria and my son is Chandler

I go here regularly and speak very little Spanish and still get very good service. They are a small store and as of recently business has been slower for a lot of Latino owned businesses so having a lot of old stock is expected but could still be managed better from the looks of other reviews. That being said I have been purchasing from this store for almost two years and have never received anything spoiled or expired. They have a very good meat selection, the tamales are great and I usually buy extras to freeze for a later date and I am met with a smile almost always. Give more small stores like this a shot, establishments like THIS are what makes us a great country. As far as price goes sometimes things can be spendy if you’re comparing to Walmart but reasonable if you’re comparing to Cub, Whole Foods or Hyvee, but the price of Chicken did go up here which has lead me to shop here less.
